Living with Hope and Purpose
'And let us not neglect meeting together, as some have made a habit, but let us encourage one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching.' Hebrews 10:25
Created For God and One Another
We are made by God, created to know God and enjoy God forever. And we are social beings, created for togetherness. But things have broken down. We need the gospel to restore us to fellowship with God and we need healthy patterns of living, especially healthy social patterns with others to flourish in life. Our Men's Minstry is honest about the things that pull us away from God and one another, isolate us, and make life harder and less joyful than it has to be. Living Intentionally, Serving, Growing, Embracing The Call to Discipleship, all of these and more are part of the Christ-centered life we can enjoy.
Men serve our weekly Community Meal and in many other roles.
Once a quarter during a weekday evening, we’ll gather for a great meal, listen to a guest speaker share his story, and enjoy a time of fellowship with other men. Bring a friend! The food will be terrific, the testimony real, and the fellowship encouraging. You’ll leave feeling uplifted and connected! Men will meet in the Parish Hall on October 20, 2023 at 6:30 p.m. Guest Speaker: The Rev. David Wallover, recently retired after a long and faithful tenure at Harvest Presbyterian Church in Medina, will speak on Saying Yes to God with reference to God's design for human living. No charge, but a free will offering to defray food costs will be taken. Sign up at the front desk or online at https://www.stpaulsakron.org/events/mens-quarterly-dinner
