It’s Music and More
The music makes our worship more moving, a rich blessing for others.
What's more? Participation gives young people experiences of cooperation, teamwork, responsibility, and community—all while striving for musical excellence.
The music we do is quite varied: spirituals and music of American composers, motets in Latin—though sometimes in German or French, too—along with the vast repertoire of the English Cathedral tradition.
And choir is more than singing! Choristers travel on tours, domestically and abroad, participate in "choir camp" in the summer, and attend concerts. We are a diverse and closely-knit community of adults and young people, and we're very welcoming towards new singers and new families.
Contact Daniel Fortune, organist-choirmaster, to learn more about joining our choir. We welcome Boys & Girls (ages 8–17, or about grade 3 and older), as well as adult men and women. We provide on-the-job training, so prior singing experience isn't necessary, though it can be helpful for the adults.
