For over decades we have been making a Christmas Appeal to help those in need, especially emergency needs. We often raise $20--30K for those in dire straits, some of whom are within our parish family, many of whom are not. We call to mind the story of the Good Samaritan who, by helping someone in need, became a good neighbor. We become better neighbors by assisting those who need help with utilities, shelter, medical supplies, food and more. The world will always have more than enough needs to keep us busy and to stretch our giving, so please consider helping as you are able.
